Bismarck Brown Y
Brown powder. Soluble in water for yellow brown, slightly soluble in ethanol and soluble fiber element, insoluble in acetone, benzene, carbon tetrachloride, ceramic, and solvent. The strong sulfuric acid for brown, diluted into a red light brown; In nitric acid solution for orange, to yellow.
